Her more than 20 years of diverse real estate experience includes project sales, development, team management and residential sales expertise in both cosmopolitan and metropolitan communities. Bonnie has specialized in a wide variety of properties, from downtown condos and co-ops to high-end urban and suburban single-family homes.
Real Estate is a passion for Bonnie; she claims that this is the perfect profession for her (she has terminal curiosity). Looking at properties, and visualizing what could be is a strength Bonnie brings. Bonnie has been very active in the real estate community. She served as the 2014 President of the DC Association of Realtors (DCAR) and has served on the DCAR Board of Directors since 2010. She is also on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Bonnie is active in the local association, GCAAR, where she sits on three committees. Bonnie utilizes her background in education and counseling. As a former adjunct professor at American University Bonnie has honed the ability to communicate information necessary for her clients for them to make informed decisions. A background in counseling has taught her how to listen carefully to her clients, to pay close attention to each person’s individual needs. Her interpersonal abilities have aided her in developing rapport with her clients as well as with other realtors, which serves her clients well.
As a young woman, Bonnie directed a crisis intervention center for teenagers. This, more than anything else, honed her negotiation skills; Bonnie is a strong negotiator. A Sales Manager once said to Bonnie, “I hope I never have to sit on the other side of the table from you.” What a compliment! Bonnie is a strong advocate for her clients, an invaluable skill.
